Compracenos anunciar, aínda que un pouco tarde de máis, o novo lanzamento da versión 7.10 da familia ubuntu co nome de Gutsy Gibbon. Este lanzamento fisoxe o pasado 18 de Outubro do 2007 de ahí a denominacion das versións: 7 (ano 2007) .(pto) 10 (mes de Outubro) e Gutsy Gibbon (mono con agallas, valiente).

Outra couse que se pode anunciar é o nome do seguinte lanzamento de esta familia, que será ala polo mes de Abril do 2008: Hardy Heron
